The Nicotap® Connector System for buried tracer wire is a simple and secure way to eliminate bad tracer wire connections while reducing expensive future “dig-ins.”

The copper-to-copper compression splice sleeves are designed so that the running tracer wire does not need to be cut to make a lateral connection.

The Nicotap System provides both better conductivity and better strength compared to other tracer wire splice products. Connections are secure and gaugeable, to eliminate expensive rework in the field. Operation is fast, with a one-handed crimp tool to speed installation.

Copper-to-copper compression splice for superior conductivity and a secure mechanical connection... without cutting the running wire. Maximum surface contact provides negligible attenuation of radio frequency signals, including low, medium and high frequency.

Splices are easily checked using gauging tool. Installers or supervisors can quickly confirm splice integrity.

Completed splice with pliable mastic. Future signal testing can be performed through the mastic.

Water seal mastic has a unique adhesive quality and resistance flow at elevated temperatures. It is impervious to water, salt water, road chemicals and other corrosive chemicals. It maintains flexiblity and a tight water seal in cold weather. It has no adverse effect on wire insulations and over-wrapped tapes.
